It has been a busy last couple of months … the script is now down to under 120 pages (from around 325!) with most of the background material now slotted for an accompanying graphic novel, and I can say, it is a cracking good read overall.

Unfortunately, with revisions, comes some abandoned designs and concepts (including The Occipita, which would have been this massive steampunk version of an internet terminal). But, I guess there’s nothing to cry over, as it’s all for the greater good … at any rate, I have archived some of those obsolete concepts here in the main part of this site.

Currently, some initial casting is underway, plus the prerequisite search for money to actually make the film, so the project is still technically categorized as “in development”, but, hopefully, soon, we can officially move on to pre-production.

Over at the official movie site, you can find some more information about the film (and eventual graphic novel) which fuses steampunk with industrial thrash music and mixes vampire and football (or bloodball as it’s called in the story), among other things. You’ll also find some artwork from a very talented group, including a terrific version of Dead Bolt (who more or less narrates the story) by Jason Shawn Alexander of “Hellboy” fame (pictured here - click for a larger version).

You can find the aforementioned official site here.
