Get Jack Pierce a Star on the Walk of Fame

(via AICN) Here is definitely a petition worth signing. I honestly cannot believe that Jack Pierce does not already have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but there you go. Pierce, in case you don’t know, is the genius behind the most iconic horror images in popular culture, namely, “The Mummy”, “The Wolfman”, “The Invisible Man”, and, of course, “Frankenstein” … to name only a few. It’s bad enough that he was not even credited on some of these early films.

The petition can be found here. There were — disappointingly — only 1043 signatures when I signed. Come on, there have to be more than 1043 Universal Horror fans out there, right?
