Eagle-eyed readers may have noticed an additional link and subdomain on these pages: store.zombiespirit.com. Yes, this blog and your humble narrator has lent his banner and a handful of designs to an online store. Where you will find a dazzling array of movie/monster/filmmaking T-shirt (and other garment) designs that any one of you would be proud to wear on-set or amongst your friends at the pub on a Friday night.
It’s actually pretty cool, and some of them have already been selling like hotcakes since the store went online only a short while ago. I’m particularly proud to be the owner of a (non-official, only because they don’t officially make one, because they don’t officially exist) Burpelson Air Force Base T-shirt that looks like it could have existed somewhere in the movie (that’s “Dr. Strangelove” for you non-Kubrick fans out there) right down to its muted, almost black and white color scheme.
So check it out when you get a chance. It’s got a kind of Warren/Forrest J Ackerman feel to it that you Famous Monsters fans, I’m sure, will appreciate.
