Synopsis:
The future …
The jackboot of a united police force rests squarely on an oppressed, but oblivious world populace. Free speech has long been stifled and any kind of liberal freedom is no more than a distant memory.
Earth’s prisons now overpopulated beyond belief, enemies of the state with no chance of parole are contained in orbital penal colony S271 - silenced, forgotten, left to rot.
John Anderson Barber has a bleak future ahead of him, but is given a choice … there is someone in the prison that the World President needs … but something on OPC-S271 has gone terribly wrong.
